Job Summary

We are looking for a competent and experienced Site Agent to join our team. The Site Agent will be responsible for interpreting drawings including architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings on behalf of the company. He/she will also help with the monthly programming of work.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.    Site Management

I. Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress, and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.

II. Formulate, update, maintain, and distribute the project program

III. Manage the sub-contractors & and coordinate both nominated & and domestic sub-contractors.

IV. Coordinating and supervising construction workers

2.    Reporting and Key Relationships

I.  with consultants i.e. Architects, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers for details.

II. Attends site meetings & and keeps essential site documents & and records

III.  clients during site visits and answering questions about the construction project’s overall progress and changes; working closely and consulting with clients all through the project lifecycle

IV. Create site harmony by resolving any emerging conflicts in consultation with Project Managers

3.    Safety and Standards

I. Be responsible for quality and proper building practices and engineering

II.Be permanently on-site during working hours to give guidance and prevent defects.

III.Setting and enforcing standards for each job site and ensuring that contractors and crews follow proper safety guidelines

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil engineering or Construction management from a reputable university
2. A solid understanding of project management
3. A minimum of 5years relevant work experience. Experience in both Roads & Building construction will be an added advantage.
4. High standards of workmanship and attention to detail

Position: Foreman

Reports to: Site Agent

Location: Company Site

We are looking for foremen who will work hand in hand with site agents to supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers on our company sites. They must ensure that the work is completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.Coordinating and supervising construction workers

2.Assigning tasks to crew workers and making schedules for workers

3.Monitoring the progress of the project and ensuring work is completed on time

4.Ensuring the project stays within budget.

5.Acting as a liaise between workers and supervisors

6.Being permanently on site and addressing workers’ issues

7.In charge and responsible for materials and equipment on site.

Qualifications

1.Diploma in civil engineering or building technology.

2.At least 5 years of experience (building and civil works), experience in both Road & building construction will be an added advantage.

3.Proactive and highly organized

4.High standards of workmanship and attention to detail

5.Great team player who will guide contractors and subcontractors.
